All the world is here.
It is there.
It is everywhere.
All the world is
ALL THE WORLD is a riding-on-the-clouds kind of picture book. What is all the world like?
It is the shell you find on the beach, the corn you harvest, and the tomato blossom you smell.
It is the grand tree you climb with your siblings, the dog you bring out to play, and the white birds flapping overhead.
It is the rain, the sunset, and the wait for dinner.
All the world is wide and deep, sunny and rainy, old and new. All the world is all the details, things and people all around us. It is you and me.
This is a simple and classy picture book. Got me thinking: Each task, each scrap of effort, each failure, each success, each bite, each squeal, each person we meet, each lesson with a kid, each visit, each comment, each picture, each piece of music, each story makes up of you and me. And all the world is, for me at least, rather good.
Doesn't this book cover make you breathe a little easier? I feel like heading to the seaside ...

Really enjoyed the honest voice of this narrator ~ a teenager let down by his mother and the foster care system, and almost-picked up through his involvement with a gang.
