My Lovelies, what are you reading these days?
For me, it's this:
About a boy spending his magical summers in Illinois, and thinking about tennis shoes, curious machines and far-traveling.
About an ill-lucked boy named Odd who meets a bear, a fox and an eagle. He goes on to save the city of Asgard from the Frost Giants.
Barry is one of the nicest online friends I've made since I started writer/reader-mingling. His journey in scaling great heights and helping kids in Africa is just the sort of inspiring read I need to stir myself to climb my own mountains.
So that's about it for me. Three books. Two eyeballs. One restless mind. (I think I finally understand why I read soooooo slowly ...)
What about you? What are you reading?

Really enjoyed the honest voice of this narrator ~ a teenager let down by his mother and the foster care system, and almost-picked up through his involvement with a gang.
