November is Picture Book Month. Today I’m going to leave you with a link to a great picture book celebration at PictureBookMonth.com. Check out their series of articles on Why Picture Books Are Important written by several wonderful writers & illustrators. I love the numerous links on that site and will be taking in all the wonderful smells and sights of my beloved PB reads this entire rainy November.
The picture book world opened my mind when I was a child, and has now set my adult self free. Dearest Alice grumbled about the lack of pictures in her sister's books, so I gather she would've loved this celebration, too.
This week’s post is short.
Forgive me, I’m still waiting for the green light on our picture e-book to be displayed on various e-readers. (Any day now, I'm told.)
My insides are eating one another. I’m trying to breathe right.
While making our book trailer, I found the most amazing piece of music to go along with the slides. When I heard that piece of music, and bought its license for use, it felt surreal. (And rather like striking the lottery.) Can’t wait to share it with you beautiful people next week.
Have a good day and remember to check out the link (if you and your children love picture books)!

Hey, I'm Claudine. Welcome!

Really enjoyed the honest voice of this narrator ~ a teenager let down by his mother and the foster care system, and almost-picked up through his involvement with a gang.
